Caitlyn Collins

Associate Attorney

Caitlyn Collins is an associate attorney at Fast Law Firm, P.C., where she represents clients in serious criminal matters. She joined the firm in 2025 after relocating to New York City and completing a judicial clerkship with the Honorable David Newell of the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals.

Caitlyn has devoted her legal career to criminal defense and believes that every person is entitled to skilled, compassionate, and diligent representation. During law school, she worked with the Criminal Justice Clinic at St. Mary’s University School of Law and interned with the San Diego County Office of the Public Defender and the Capital Habeas Unit of the Federal Public Defender for the Western District of Texas. These experiences exposed her to criminal cases at every stage, from trial-level representation to complex post-conviction proceedings.

Before attending law school, Caitlyn held finance and human-resources positions at The University of Texas at Austin. Drawn to public-service work, she later served as office manager for Feeding Texas, a statewide hunger-relief organization. Her interest in criminal defense developed through her advocacy for criminal-justice reform and her belief that meaningful change requires both systemic engagement and committed representation of individuals.

During law school, Caitlyn served as Editor in Chief of The Scholar: St. Mary’s Law Review on Race and Social Justice and was recognized at graduation with the Pro Bono and Public Service Award and the Dean’s Award for distinguished graduates.
